Salesforce Export

Nanonets integrates directly with Salesforce so you can sync transactions directly to your accounting system.

How to setup the Salesforce integration

  1. Click on the Salesforce card in your Workflow
  2. Click on Sign in to Salesforce
  3. Enter your Salesforce credentials
  4. Back on the Nanonets Salesforce card, map the Nanonets fields to the corresponding columns in Salesforce.
Eg: The Invoice_number captured in Nanonets should be populated under 'Invoice ID' in Salesforce. To link these two entities, they need to be mapped in the Nanonets export modal.
  5. Select an Export Trigger:
    1. The file can be exported as soon as it is processed OR
    2. The file can be exported only if marked Approved
  6. Click on Done.

Exporting the Original File to Salesforce

If you enable "Export original file", the file will be sent to Salesforce as either a File or an Attachment, depending on your Salesforce UI and org settings:

  1. In Lightning Experience, files appear in the Files section.
  2. In Classic UI, or if your org uses legacy behavior, files might show under Attachments.

Note:
To ensure files appear under Files instead of Attachments, enable the following setting in Salesforce: “Files uploaded to the Attachments related list on records are uploaded as Salesforce Files, not as attachments.

How Upsert Works

Nanonets uses Salesforce's upsert functionality to avoid creating duplicate records.

By default, upsert checks for a primary key in the Salesforce table being exported to and uses it to perform the upsert.

Now, you should be ready to review and automatically export files!
