Currency Detector

Why use this formatter?

When processing documents from multiple countries, the currency is usually placed next to the amount and may not be explicitly mentioned. (eg: EUR, $, AUD, £ etc). You may want to extract the currency symbols or codes and capture this data as a separate column.

How to set up Currency Detector

1. Under Apply to field, select the field to apply the action on. Eg: Currency (in pre-trained models) or if using a custom model, create a new field and name it "currency". (no training required)
2. Click on Done
